Library Student Learning Outcomes

Course Student Learning Outcome 1
Find information to fulfill an information need and then to apply the information appropriately.
Course Student Learning Outcome 2
Collect, arrange and organize and then evaluate which information is best for your particular need.
Course Student Learning Outcome 3
Identify and choose the appropriate type (e.g., academic, public, special, etc.) of library and library resource(s) (e.g., proprietary database, reference books, circulating books, librarians, etc.) to use for a given particular information need.
Institutional Student Learning Outcome 4
Information Literacy - Students will formulate strategies to locate, evaluate, and apply information from a variety of sources in a verity of formats such as print and/ or electronic.

The Library will support student learning with access to adequate resources regardless of student location or means of delivery.
